Juraska Lab

developing corpus callosum
Arrows from left to right indicate a glial cell, myelinated axon, and unmyelinated axon within the developing corpus callosum.

The Juraska Lab studies hormonal influences on neuronal structure across early development and adolescence, focusing primarily on the prefrontal cortex and cognitive behavior. Our current projects include the neural and behavioral changes during adolescence and puberty and the effects of endocrine disruptors (such as BPA and phthalates) during early development and during adolescence.

Our Principal Investigator is Janice Juraska.
