The DEI Award was created by the newly formed Diverstiy, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in the Spring of 2022.  As these values are at the core of what Neuroscience does, it was important to celebrate the efforts of Neuroscience Program Faculty, Students and Staff.  Up to three awards may be presented in a given year accompanied by a $300 prize.

DEI Award

An individual member of the Neuroscience Program (faculty, student or staff) whose time or efforts further advances the understanding and/or tolerance of differences and/or whose time and efforts worked toward increasing the prevalence of diversity, equity and inclusion for the betterment of our program community, university community or our greater community at large.
