Research Interests
My goal is to uncover the neurobiological basis of social behavior with cutting-edge spatial transcriptomics technology and advanced computational approaches. Recently, I have developed methodologies to create a comprehensive 3D spatial transcriptomic atlas of the honey bee brain using MERFISH technology and multiplexed imaging platforms and am now conducting comparative studies between different bee phenotypes. Additionally, I specialize in computational analysis of large-scale spatial omics datasets for three years, with a focus on developing novel algorithms and applying machine learning-based tools at the intersection of computer science and neuroscience. I am passionate about promoting interdisciplinary research in comparative neurobiology, behavioral neuroscience, and computational neuroscience to deepen our understanding of mechanisms underlying brain circuits across species and how they contribute to behaviors.
