Biography
Evan Anderson completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Psychology. He is a member of the Neuroscience program and is a graduate student in the Decision Neuroscience lab. Evan’s background is in computer science and cognitive psychology. His research investigates the neurobiological mechanisms underpinning human intelligence and decision-making using methods from systems-level neuroscience. His research also focuses on neural architecture underlying moral judgement and reasoning. Evan's research has been supported by DOD grant funding through DARPA and IARPA, focused on the development of novel AI algorithms for counterfactual reasoning using individual differences.
